Plane tickets either already bought (1-2) or to be purchased in the next 4-6 weeks (3-5):
- early September: Burlington, VT (baby shower)
- early October: Seattle, WA (long-overdue vacation and general carousing)
- early November: Burlington, VT (visiting the niece/nephew from the September baby shower)
- late November: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Thanksgiving)
- late December: Burlington, VT (Christmas)
As much as I'm thrilled to take each of these trips, I weep for the money draining from our bank accounts. Dear god, is it too much to ask for the family events to spread themselves out over the entire year? Why does it all always have to fall during the same 4 months? Sheesh!
This past weekend, my sister and brother-in-law visited - a bit of a "last hurrah" before their baby is born at the end of October. It was so great having a bunch of quality time together. I didn't take nearly enough photographs of the family, but I'll share some of what I've got.
